Does rogaine stop hair loss or does it just grow new hairs?

I’m 13 and I have hair loss. I’m currently using rogaine, and i want to know if it just stops hair loss or grows hair.

Is it true that massaging is good for hair growth?

I asked a question on here a few days ago about good ways to get my hair to grow. Some people said massaging it. If I massage it with an olive oil spray do you think that is good?
Also, what do people recommend for hair growth? any vitamins?

I cut my hair shoulder length a year ago but I’m tired of that look now and would like to hair longer hair again. When I do have my ends trimmed it always looks like my hair is shorter than when I first walked through the door. Should I wait a little longer maybe a couple of months instead of six weeks to get a trim. Are there any extra tips to growing hair faster? I’ve heard that prenatal vitamins help a great deal..
